Recognize these photos? If you’ve seen Star Wars, you probably do.
This the abandoned set of Tatooine, Luke Skywalker’s home planet. A photographer accidentally stumbled upon the set, which sits in the Tunisian desert. They sit in perfect stillness, at the crest of the Sahara Desert, eaten away by dust and sand.
I started with New Who and watched all of Nine, Ten, and most of Eleven.
Now I’m watching as many Classic Who episodes as I can find.
When people say, “my Doctor” or “my favorite Doctor”, all I can think is…
I love them all. Every single one. Because to me, despite what actor is playing him, he is still the same man. He is still the same character that I have grown to love and there will never be one person that stands out more than the rest.
THIS ^ ^ ^
cat doesn’t want to get out of nice warm bath [x]
D’AAAAWWWWWWWWWW!!! So much for the myth that cats hate baths. This kitty be chillaxin’!

I actually still have the original Marvel Empire Strikes Back Special Edition (Treasury Edition, but oddly not called that…) this is from. The Marvel comic adaptations of Empire and Jedi really had stunning artwork…
where is this guy’s blockbuster movie
This guy ROCKS. Oh yes, I said it. But seriously, inspirational as fuck,
hi guys! this is a comic i made for a final in my comics in literature class. we had to do a research paper on a topic we’d discussed in class and then accompany it with a comic with a relevant subject. my paper was about hyper-sexualization of women in comic books, but i decided to broaden it out here as well as personalize it and make myself the subject and discuss something i’ve been subjected to in the convention circuit and on the internet as well as thousands of other women, as well as give a cue to thought about how the comic book industry as well as the video game industry and even just media in general (all of which are male dominated) push such ridiculous pressures onto girls and women.
also, it feels kind of silly to have to add this since i hope it’s obvious, but i am very aware that there are men that don’t subscribe to this attitude, and am incredibly grateful that these issues are brought to light to people other than the ones that are subjected to it.
anyway haha i have literally been staring at this for 9 hours i don’t even know which direction is up anymore. thanks for reading!!!
Since this comic piece featured Wonder woman, I thought it would be nice to share it.
This made me cry a bit; nobody who loves Wonder woman and wants to show it should be subjected to such mockery and discrimination. Wonder woman as well as other heroines are sources of inspiration and strength, and whilst they are sometimes over sexual; it shouldn’t give people the license to make us feel bad for trying to love them in our own little way.
This is the most saddest comic i’ve ever read :(
For all my geeky lady friends and the men who love them for who they are, and share their love for all things geeky unconditionally. You’re all awesome.
